One weekend Hubby and I decided to use the Groupon voucher that we bought for a whole tandoori chicken at Spicy Silsila. We thought it would be a good change from KFC, Sun BBQ or Nandos especially since Hubby really loves Indian food. We booked in the restaurant the day before and the premise was so easy so find because it's located in the same complex together with Kahmon and Rice Noodle House.

The premise can seat about 16 people comfortably and that night we shared the place with a group of 8 people who also used their Groupon voucher.

We ordered a portion of steam rice to share between two people as well as two giant samosas, it was only later on that I realised I should have ordered one to share. The staff was quite surprised that we ordered a side of steam rice with our chicken because he said the tandoori chicken was meant to be eaten by itself, just like KFC chicken.

The marinated skinless chicken came slightly charred and on our first bite we could taste the tenderness of the chicken. The potatoes inside the samosa was quite spicy, we really enjoyed it! We were really stuffed after finishing the whole chicken and two giant samosas. We will definitely go back to try other offerings that Spicy Silsila has!
