Moments Cafe Joondalup

I stumbled upon Richard's Instagram account when I was browsing on Friday. His instagram feed was filled with amazing latte art so I commented on one of the photos. Intrigued by his skill, I asked whether he'd be working on Sunday morning and he said yes. After I got the confirmation, I ordered my Daft Punk latte art in advance as a surprise for hubby.

As planned, Hubby and I visited the Moments Cafe in Joondalup on Sunday morning. The cafe was quite spacious with outdoor and indoor seating available. The menu came in a form of mini photo album which was very creative. We also saw a lot of moustaches on the wall of the cafe.

We are human after all... :-)

Hubby was really happy when he saw the latte art on my coffee, a tribute to the "HUMAN" helmet! It looked really awesome and very close to the real thing. Hubby is not a coffee drinker so I drank the whole latte on behalf of him. Richard explained that he was practicing to make the latte art for the whole morning but it was very difficult to fit two characters (or two helmets) inside the mug.

Corn Fritters

The staff at Moments Cafe was so friendly and prompt. I ordered a serving of Corn Fritters with Bacon and it came with a small glass of Maple syrup. Everything was so delicious including the bed of salad underneath the corn fritters. The fritters were made very well and I could taste a lot of sweetness of corn. Of course maple and bacon was always a perfect combination!

Hubby's Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon was also perfectly prepared. The eggs were cooked according to how he wanted it.

Richard asked us whether it was worth the drive from Baldivis to Joondalup and it was worth it. We got a cup of good coffee with amazing latte art, great breakfast and served by friendly staff.
