Epicurean, Crown Towers

Good afternoon, Crown Towers!

It was day 3 of trading for the Epicurean restaurant at Crown Towers. We were so excited to try different kind of food at Epicurean!

Connected pathway

Even though Epicurean located at the Crown Towers, there is a pathway that connects the building with Crown Perth. It's very accessible especially with plenty of free parking around Crown Perth area. We saw some announcements on the wall that say a couple of shops will open soon at the Crown Towers building.

Fresh crab!!

The decoration and design of the room was definitely a big highlight at Epicurean. The whole restaurant looked really clean with gold accents throughout. I really loved their Charcuterie and fresh seafood display which located close to the entrance.

Beautiful gingerbread house that can't be taken apart ;-)

The giant ginger bread house was the centrepiece above the salad station. Chef Sean Marco came over and warned me that any candy from the house couldn't be eaten.i might looked too keen on eating those colourful candies... Hahaha

Some oysters ;-)

Cheeses!

There was a giant chocolate fondue tower filled with unlimited amount of Java, dark and white chocolate near the desserts area. I made a note to myself that I had to try it later on.

Giant Choc Fondue

It's very important to pace yourself and take small portion of different dish. That way you'd be able to try everything at the buffet.

Charcuterie and Artisan Breads

We basically tried everything from the front station (charcuterie, bread, seafood, salad) and made our way through the Asian food, Indian food, all the way to the Roast Station which was located at the end of the row.

Small portions!

The roast station had a lot of choices for meat eaters and hubby found their turkey was very tender. It wasn't the case with the pork belly. The crackle was burnt and the meat wasn't tender enough.

From roast station: turkey, pork belly and Italian Sausage

At the roast station they also had two woodfired pizzas on offer. The first one was charsiu pork with chili oil and the second one was the vegetarian mushroom pizza.

Beautiful display of desserts :-)

The Epicurean showcases their desserts beautifully. Hubby really liked their refreshing watermelon and mango sorbet. They also have many individual cakes inside the glass receptacle. I only managed to try 6 or maybe 8 cakes out of the whole selection...

Another highlight of the day was when we found the delicious black pepper crab as part of the Asian Kitchen. The crab was cooked really well and the black pepper sauce soaked well into the meat.

Chef Sean Marco saw me walked around the Asian food station and he asked me if I liked the food. He was quite attentive and even helped out when a customer requested more cutleries for their table.

Epicurean is definitely a great buffet restaurant to try on any special occasions. The view from the restaurant was beautiful especially if you're seated near the long glass windows. Kids and adults will be able to enjoy many variety of dishes on offer at the restaurant.

There are two different times of seating for dinner. The first one started at 5 PM until 7:30 PM, the second one started at 8 PM and lasts until 11 PM.
