Mr Fox on William

I wanted to eat at Mr Fox on William for the longest time, ever since I got tagged in the first few of their photos last year. Fast forward to 2017 and I finally paid a visit to Mr Fox last weekend. I even got to see the cute Mr Fox mural plastered on the wall inside the restaurant.

The place was really adorable with vintage and dainty decorations all throughout the cafe. Hubby and I were seated at a table for two people against the wall. We were informed that one of the best selling items at the cafe was their Mac n' Cheese Waffle. It was a chilly day and without a second thought I knew I had to try that waffle. Hubby settled for nachos, his favourite go to food.

I also ordered the Crema Brulee because the thought of having crisp burnt sugar on my coffee just sounded too amazing. And it was. I was advised not to crack the sugar right away but wait until it sets for 1-2 minutes. Of course I had fun cracking the layer of crisp sugar and we did an obligatory boomerang video too. There was a thick layer of caramel at the bottom that you can stir to decide how sweet you want the coffee to be. Next time I might try the Bounty Hot Chocolate... ;-)

Hubby went for the mint slice milkshake that looks really pretty. He couldn't finish it at the end because he was really full from his nachos. The milkshake wasn't too sweet and really easy to drink.

Bigger than what you thought...

I tried to take a photo that can show the real size of the baked nachos bowl. The photo ended up making it looking quite small... It was huge and I didn't expect the dish to be so big! I think we got our money's worth especially since the meal had heaps of cut up avocados, chicken, salsa and cheese in it. A vegetarian option is also available at the cafe.

The awaited waffle came with bacon aioli ranch which was really delicious. The batter was sweet and mixed well with the saltiness of mac n' cheese. The fried chicken was cooked really well too. The portion was very filling for one person.

If you plan to have breakfast or brunch at Mr Fox on William, just remember that you will be well fed by the time you finish your meal. There are outdoor seating as well if you plan to bring your pet along. We really enjoyed our brunch and so happy with the service at the cafe. Food was really delicious and the coffee was well made. I was so happy with my decision to visit Mr Fox on William (better late than never)!
