Barnyard1978, Yallingup
Erlin and I stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back from Margaret River. We were hungry after visiting the Canal Rocks at Yallingup, and we decided to stop by at Barnyard1978.
When we walked in, we were so happy to find a beautiful hidden gem (for us). Barnyard1978 has indoor and outdoor seating areas. We decided to stay indoors because it was quite a windy day. We were quite late for lunch, but we still saw a lot of customers coming into Barnyard1978.
I opted for heartwarming mushroom pappardelle, while Erlin decided to get the artichoke and ricotta ravioli. Both were really delicious, we were happy with our pasta. The open kitchen was a great addition to the restaurant as we could easily see how our food was prepared.
Barnyard1978 also sells wines, icecream, honey, pasta, sauce and pickles. We tried most of their honey and Erlin bought a jar of Jarrah. Barnyard1978 is a great place to hang out if you ever visit Yallingup. It is also located next to Cape Lavender, where you can grab some Lavender ice cream.
