Yes Please Perth, Northbridge
'Yes Please Perth' in Northbridge is an excellent hangout place for midnight owls. The restaurant is a breath of fresh air in addition to The Bite, U & I Cafe, Fast Eddys, and other Chinatown eateries around Northbridge and CBD area. Not only providing delicious food, but there are also a lot of board games that can be played while you're there.
Sharon and I visited Yes Please Perth after an event in Innaloo. We were looking for a place where we could have some meals to share with each other. Do you know that after 11 PM, you can purchase a burger and beer for just $12? The staff in this restaurant were so helpful and amazing. They answered a lot of questions that we had about their menu and dishes.
Later on, I learned that Yes Please Perth was "established by four guys who bonded over their love of quality food, excellent beverages and genuinely having a good time. This warm and cozy restaurant is the love child of those 3 ingredients and provides a haven for the local community to come together and celebrate all that is life. The delicious, fresh, home cooked food is sourced from local suppliers and from our bio-dynamic and organic farm in Morangup" (source: Website).
The kitchen and bar are open until 2am every night, 3am Friday and Saturday. One of the must-have dishes is Crispy Piggy Bits, where the chef combined pork belly along with pork ears (ps: pork ears is my favourite!!!).
Another one is the charcoal-seared flank steak served with ajo blanco (also called white gazpacho), chimichurri, and baby onions. The steak was cooked perfectly.
When we entered Yes Please Perth, we didn't plan on trying a lot of dishes. We ended up ordering some desserts too on the night. It was crazy, but it was also proof of delicious food at Yes Please Perth. We raved about the Crispy Piggy Bits to people that we met the next day. I even mentioned it to Sylvia from House of Ten when I did my nails. Thank you for bringing delicious food for our midnight supper, Yes Please Perth!
