Silverkris Lounge Perth
The Singapore Air (SQ) Silverkris Lounge in Perth was smaller than the one at Changi Airport, Singapore. However, we were happy with the friendly service and food quality for breakfast. There was a slight delay with our 6:30 AM flight, so the staff said that they'd inform us of the new boarding time.
I managed to post some photos and fixed up some items on my blog due to the free Wi-Fi that they offered at the lounge. As we walked in, there was a receptionist desk, rows of magazines and comfortable seats. There are some alcohols available, but I didn't see anyone touch it in the morning.
From October 1st, Singapore Air will also provide Margaret River's Cheeky Monkey Pale Ale beers for all business class passengers on flights to and from Perth. The beers will also be available in the lounge. The Pale Ale won a silver medal at Perth Royal Beer Awards 2017.
Smoothies, fresh fruits and muesli yoghurt were available in the fridge while some hot foods buffet were prepared on the other side. I was surprised and happy when I saw some cup noodles there (yay for comfort food). I made a cup of hot tea while Hubby was busy taking some hot mushrooms, bacon and toasts.
The Lounge provides a pleasant escape from the busy airport. I didn't realise the difference it makes, but a calming couple of hours really helped to relax the mind. Silverkris Lounge is available at International Terminal Departure Area, opposite of Gate Four.
