We had the pleasure of booking a delightful dinner at the renowned Samuel Restaurant, located within the luxurious Parmelia Hilton Hotel. Our previous extraordinary experience primarily drove this decision at the Vasse Felix Wine Dinner, where the talented chef showcased an array of delectable dishes that left us craving for more.

Eager to indulge in the culinary magic again, we decided to explore Samuel Restaurant's enticing Autumn and Winter menu, featuring seasonally-inspired creations that celebrate the rich, earthy flavors of the cooler months ☃️❄️🌥

We knew that our palates were in for a treat as we anticipated an unforgettable gastronomic journey 😊

Samuel Restaurant Pan Pacific

We embarked on our culinary adventure with a mouthwatering selection of starters that truly set the tone for the evening. We savoured the delicate Scallops, elegantly adorned with rich black roe, a tangy green apple gel, succulent watermelon, and briny samphire that provided a delightful symphony of flavour and textures. In the latest menu, they swapped the scallop with Blue Swimmer Crab 🦀

We finished this dish super quick! It was so delish! 😍

Next, we indulged in the tender grilled octopus, elevated by super tasty and creamy romesco sauce and spicy chorizo that danced on our tastebuds.

As a last-minute decision, Marc couldn't resist trying the duck liver parfait, beautifully paired with a sweet and earthy dried fig and raisin compote, served alongside fresh, crusty ciabatta.

We would gladly order these sensational starters time and time again.

Marc’s Pork Belly

For our main courses at the Samuel Restaurant, we were presented with a diverse array of dishes that perfectly complemented our earlier starters.

The pork belly, accompanied by a tarragon and mustard emulsion, braised leek, fava beans, and arich pork jus, was a generous portion that left Marc deeply satisfied.

Dardanup Lamb

Tender, hearty, and so delicious!

On the chilly evening, I chose the Dardanup Lamb, a comforting dish served with butternut squash, black cabbage, and goat cheese, which proved to be an excellent choice for the cold night.

The Seafood Casarecce delivered a delightful kick, its blend of prawn bisque, fresh chili, garlic, and pangrattato creating an irresistible harmony of flavours. I don't have a picture for this dish, but the taste was 👌 Everyone agreed!

Meanwhile, Elena relished the market fish, plated with a luscious citrus cream, salmon pearls, and roasted fennel.

We were all pleased with our main courses, but regrettably, we had no room for dessert.

The house-made doughnut with lemon curd 🍩🍋 will have to wait until our inevitable return to Samuel Restaurant.

Regardless, we wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for a romantic date night, a family gathering, or a casual catch-up with friends.

Even solo diners will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere here, making it the perfect destination for any dining occasion.
