Atlas Food & Coffee, West Perth
I went to Atlas Food & Coffee for a photo shoot session. I didn't know what to expect, but I was excited to try some food there. Atlas food+coffee is owned by the same people that run 1982 Espresso in Subiaco.
The first thing that I asked them to make was the Galaxy Drink. It sounds fun, and the real drink was gorgeous. It's a refreshing lemonade drink if you look for a different option to coffee or tea. They also stock delicious Teassential at Atlas and flavoured latte (beetroot, turmeric, black sesame).
Atlas has a really pretty bruschetta, and it was delicious as well. The toast comes with avocado, goats curd, tomato, pistachio, green oil, and caramelised apple balsamic. It's a light dish and great to start the morning with.
The Moroccan Lamb is also served beautifully, and the yellow turmeric hummus really brightens up the dish. It came with a warm salad of paprika chickpea, quinoa, kale, cauliflower, dukkah, and herbs. I like to mix every ingredient together.
If you like something sweet then definitely go for Nutella Pannacotta. It's served with burnt fig granola, strawberry, berry coulis, pistachio, torched marshmallows, and a mini jar of milk to pour onto the dish. So far, this is probably their most instagrammable dish. Not only beautiful, but it was also tasty and not too sweet.
I also like how Atlas has Duck's Benedict Slider. The pulled duck was really tender and served with hoisin sauce. Very Asian inspired and really delish too.
The team and I had a great time at Atlas. They have great food, and we will definitely be back again one day!
