Perth Night Noodle Markets 2016
Only 3 days left until the Night Noodle Markets lifts off from Elizabeth Quay! Here's a recap of what we tried at Night Noodle Markets.
Spotted: Noodle Markets Mafia
The Big 4 came all the way from Sydney and Melbourne so we checked out the awesome food offerings that they had for the Perth's Night Noodle Markets.
Pepper Lunch Beaux Lane, Mt Lawley (Invited)
Decorated with industrial lighting and neon signs, Pepper Lunch at Beaux Lane was very spacious and airy compared to the other two restaurants. I think the Vegetarian Menu might work with the locals too ;-)
Fuyu, Nedlands: An Experience to be Repeated
We had a really enjoyable dinner at Fuyu, a restaurant that served exceptional Modern Asian food.
Dessert Room, Karawara (Invited)
Dessert Room is going to change some of their decorations in the upcoming months or so and I will go for their pandan waffle with kaya next time. Yum!
Kazoomies Feel Good Food, Freo
Mixture of spices, slow-cooking, family traditions and the fusion of North African and Spanish-Basque cuisines really shown through the food that Chef Nimrod delicately prepared at Kazoomies. Ps: We’re still waiting for crispy lamb’s testicles to appear in Kazoomies’ menu ;).
The Globe Perth, 140 William (Invited)
With a majority of gluten free items in the menu, the shared dishes at the Globe Eatery will be able to offer a lot of deliciousness that everyone can enjoy. The style, the setting, the food and enthusiastic service all band together really well at the Globe Perth.
Breakfast at Holly Raye's Bassendean
Breakfast guacamole is a definite must try at Holly Raye's Bassendean and I will definitely go back for the same dish!
Morning Dim Sum at Ping Pang Pong
Ping Pang Pong excels in their dumplings especially through their very juicy XLB (Xiao Long Bao). The dumpling skin has perfect and it was very easy to pick it up using chopsticks. Their other dim sum offerings were really delicious too, definitely worth a try.
Wok Street Chow's Yum Yum Loves to Eat
It was a right decision to celebrate the Valentine's Day at Wok St Chow House especially with their Yum Yum Loves to Eat 6 course menu. If you're in the area and like good Thai food, give Wok St Chow House a go!
Jersey Jack Gelato
My two must try flavours at Jersey Jack Gelato are Coconut and Black Sesame. Jersey Jack opens until 9PM during weekdays and 10PM during weekends.
Chinese New Year at Dainty Dowager (Invited)
We had a very enjoyable Chinese New Year celebration at Daintys, surrounded with good companion and feasting on delicious food from their CNY Banquet menu.
Low Key Chow House, Leederville
Low Key Chow House serves authentic Asian food at the Leederville area and it's a perfect place for large group to share some dishes too.
Red Basil Thai Cuisine at Victoria Park
The hot Jungle Curry is a must try if you're into spicy food!
Kenko Home Cuisine, Northbridge
For the city workers, Kenko lunch special costs $10 for the rice dishes and $12 for the noodle dishes. I think that night I only tried a tiny portion of what Kenko offered and as I’m writing this review, I know that I’m keen to go back to Kenko for other dishes!
NeNe Chicken Vic Park (Invited)
NeNe Chicken is currently applying for liquor licence and they're hoping to extend the trading hours past midnight so we all can have a fried chicken coma (yay!)
