I loved my Niigata Shoyu ramen which came with two slices of aburi chashu and flavoured soft-boiled egg. The noodle was chewy, springy and easy to eat. The broth was quite light in texture but rich in flavour.

Coco Ichibanya is a specialty curry restaurant that serve their dish with various combination of toppings as well as different level of spiciness for their curry sauce.

I'd easily recommend Indocafe the White House for anyone who's looking to have great Peranakan food in Singapore. The restaurant was quite spacious and can fit about 35 people in one go.

The central location of RP on Scotts was another winning point. It was so close to the Shaw House, within walking distance to Orchard Station, Far East Plaza and ION Orchard. The Carousel's buffet breakfast will always be something that I look forward to when I visit Singapore. 

The Carousel buffet restaurant has won many awards and voted as the best buffet restaurant in Singapore for 6 years running.
