Sundays Everyday

Kakiage

I remember the first meal that I ate at Sundays Everyday and it was a huge portion of karaage chicken. As a university student, being cheap with food was a necessity especially back when I had to spent quite a bit of money on developing some colour photo slides for assignments (sigh...). One portion of karaage chicken can be perfectly divided into two meals or shared between two people (yay!).

The name is a bit funny and my friends used to joke about it since Sundays Everyday opens every other day except Sunday.

Chicken katsu curry

It's a relief that Sundays Everyday still sells satisfying delicious meals with a really good price even today. A couple of days ago I managed to take-away a chicken katsu curry meal from them because I was around the area at 10AM. However the place gets really busy very rapidly during weekday's lunch time with a lot of hungry vicious drivers which makes it difficult to find a parking spot.

The snack that I usually buy from Sundays Everyday is the kakiage, a prawn and vegetable fritters especially since it reminded me of Indonesian bakwan.

Sundays Everyday can fit about 22-24 people in one go and dine in meals usually served quite swiftly. The place was always very clean and dirty tables got cleared up briskly for customers. Besides serving as a reminder of a good uni times, Sundays Everyday is definitely a Japanese restaurant that I will dine in regularly.
